Product Manager/Estimation & Proposal

Work Experience in Estimation & Proposals of Heat Exchangers/Cryogenics/Pressure Vessels/Cold box

Reporting to: Senior Product Manager

Qualification & skill required B.E (Mechanical) with excellent communication & presentation skills

Location Sri City, Tada

Role & responsibilities

Responsible to define and implement product line strategy

Product lifecycle management , Market analysis , New product development , Set pricing strategy

Distribution define markets, channels to the market, Customer Line Simplification

Portfolio management within product line - Product Line Simplification , standardization

Developing and defining value propositions for customer, focusing on tools showing ROI, functional benefits, case studies

Define and communicate quality expectations for the product line

Utilize existing organization and processes to drive quality improvements and reduction in warranty claims

Assist in resolution of complicated warranty claims

Balance product line volume and margin to maximize profitability

Pricing management regular price book review, pricing for contracts and their updates, pricing for individual transactions

Establish inventory targets

In cooperation with finance team, develop strategic, annual and quarterly financial plan/forecast - orders, sales and margins

Participate in NPD projects

Administer product literature leaflets, specifications, presentations etc.

Drive product line standardization

Lead value engineering efforts through product engineering and CI teams to reduce cost

Prepare non-standard offers

Monitor and manage inventory

Support sales throughout sales process

Aid in customer training

Lead or assist other departments in driving process efficiency improvements
