Position: Assistant Manager / Sr. Engineer - Production Location: Sri City, Tada, Andhra Pradesh (near Chennai) Qualification BE / B. Tech (Mech.) with 7-15 years of experience in fabrication industry like Pressure Vessels or Tanks Manufacturing. Experience in Pressure Vessel / Cryogenic manufacturing industry would be an added advantage. Desired Skills Should have good knowledge in welding process (TIG,MIG & SAW) & ASME codes Should have good organizational & communication skills Should have good people management skills Hard working and result oriented approach towards achieving tasks Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for daily production activities including planning, coordination and control. Plan the production in order to execute the monthly production target and schedule. Ensure the production man-hours are properly utilized and monitored. Cross verification of material requisition in comparison to engineering drawing. Effective utilization of manpower with maximum efficiency. Ensure the production activities are as per drawings and welding procedures. Ensure timely accomplishment of production targets within the time frame and cost Participate in weekly production meetings assist Senior Management Work on cost saving through value analysis / value engineering To create and follow all necessary indicators to evaluate the manufacturing process for Reduce the rework and rejection by applying the various tools & process To coordinate with all other supporting departments such as procurement, quality control & assurance, design, and planning to ensure smooth production work flow. Ensure & create safe working environment & good housekeeping in the workshop. Preferred candidate profile We provide canteen facility and free transportation facility from Sulurpeta & Gummidipoondi.
