Product Manager / Senior Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Manager or Senior Business Analyst who can bridge business needs, regulatory requirements, and engineering execution. This role owns requirements from discovery to delivery and works closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Customer Success teams.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical thinking, clear communication skills, and hands on experience in regulated software environments.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Discovery and Analysis

• Conduct stakeholder interviews using open and closed questions
• Apply root cause analysis techniques such as 5 Why and Ishikawa
• Perform end to end process walkthroughs with business and technical teams
• Identify functional and non functional requirements including performance, security, scalability, and compliance
• Translate business needs into clear and testable requirements
  

Product and Process Design

• Design and document business processes and system flows
• Create wireframes to explain user journeys and product behavior
• Define approval workflows and exception handling scenarios
• Build traceability matrices to link requirements, design, development, and testing
• Support iterative design and continuous improvement
  

SDLC and Agile Execution

• Work within SCRUM and iterative delivery models
• Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items in Jira
• Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews
• Collaborate with QA teams on test scenarios, test cases, and validation coverage
• Ensure alignment with GAMP principles for regulated systems
  

Documentation and Modeling

• Create clear and structured documentation using Word and PPT
• Develop UML diagrams such as sequence, activity, and class diagrams
• Design ERDs for data modeling and integration discussions
• Maintain requirement documents, design specs, and release notes
• Ensure documentation meets audit and compliance expectations
  

Product Management and Go To Market Support

• Support product strategy and roadmap discussions
• Contribute to GTM planning and feature positioning
• Apply product frameworks such as 5Ps and SWOT
• Perform competition analysis using Porter style frameworks
• Support pricing discussions based on cost and value considerations
  

Communication and Stakeholder Management

• Communicate clearly with business, technical, and leadership teams
• Ask focused questions and guide discussions toward outcomes
• Use strong verbal and non verbal communication including eye contact and tone
• Refocus conversations when discussions drift from objectives
• Adapt language and vocabulary for technical and non technical audiences
  

Tools of the Trade

• Microsoft Word for documentation
• PowerPoint for presentations and stakeholder communication
• Excel for analysis, data validation, and tracking
• Jira for backlog management and sprint execution
  

Required Experience and Skills

• 6 to 12 years of experience as a Product Manager or Business Analyst
• Strong experience in SaaS or enterprise software products
• Experience working in regulated or compliance driven environments
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and drive clarity in complex discussions
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or supply chain systems
• Exposure to serialization, traceability, or compliance platforms
• Experience working with global stakeholders and distributed teams
