Product Engineering Manager / Product Development Lead

As an experienced Java developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing RESTful web services and working with both relational and non-relational databases. Your expertise in SQL queries, Git, and automation tools like Maven and Jenkins will be crucial in transforming data and ensuring efficient processes. You will also demonstrate strong leadership skills by leading and motivating teams, making strategic decisions on talent and tools, and fostering proactive communication with US leads. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of product engineers and designers in developing highly scalable systems using Java, React, SQL & NoSQL databases. - Ensure technical execution follows industry best practices and deliver product features with high quality, reliability, and performance. - Collaborate with product managers to translate user stories into technical requirements and maintain a consistent approach to building, testing, and releasing work. - Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to oversee the entire product development process from ideation to launch. - Conduct thorough testing, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure products meet quality standards and customer expectations. - Stay updated with industry trends, contribute to technical discussions, and make informed decisions. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of hands-on programming experience with Java technology stack. - Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., MYSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and noSQL databases. - Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and other automation/build tools. - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycles. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. - Passion for technology and innovation.
