Job Description

As an experienced Mechanical or Automobile Engineer with 4 to 5 years of experience, your role will involve supporting product development through various processes and tools such as NPD, Design Review, Virtual Review, DFMEA, DVP & R, DFM, DFA, and tolerance stack-up. You will also conduct cross-functional reviews for components, create 3D CAD models for casting components and other engine parts, as well as develop and check 2D drawings with GD&T application. Key Responsibilities: - Support Product development through processes like NPD, Design Review, and tools such as DFMEA, DVP & R, DFM, DFA, tolerance stack-up. - Conduct cross-functional reviews for components and seek guidance when necessary. - Create 3D CAD models for casting components and engine parts. - Develop engineering releases as per component requirements. - Support engine build with proposed BOM and part movement during builds, validation, and testing. - Capable of handling ETLA and Product tailoring components/system TLA. - Support field issue resolution using problem-solving tools like 8D and RCA. Qualifications Required: - B.E./BTech or MTech in Mechanical or Automobile. - Background in working with CREO 7.0 on engine components like plumbing, sheet metal parts, casting, etc. - Know-how of IC engine, subsystems, and component parts preferred. - Familiarity with product lifecycle and PLM tools. - Knowledge of Manufacturing processes and Design for Assembly. - MCM (Master CAD Model) knowledge preferred. - Basic understanding of engine components function preferred. - CAD Proficiency in Pro/E Creo at an intermediate skill level.
