Product Engineer - Mechanical

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to oversee the manufacturing processes of mechanical components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving production efficiency, maintaining product quality, and ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2- 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role, preferably with mechanical. Strong understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes (machining, welding, assembly, etc.). Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and ERP systems. Working knowledge of quality standards (ISO, AS9100, etc.). Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day production activities for mechanical parts. Review engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure accurate production processes. Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime. Ensure product quality by establishing and enforcing quality control standards. Collaborate with design, quality, and maintenance teams to optimize workflows. Monitor production KPIs and suggest continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. Document production reports, process changes, and inspection records. Act as a key liaison between the shop floor and management by providing regular updates on production performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities. Assist management in planning and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, cost-efficiency, and process optimization. Support in preparing reports, metrics, and documentation for management review and decision-making. Participate in audits, reviews, and cross-functional meetings to align operational goals with organizational objectives. Mentor and guide junior team members or operators to ensure alignment with management directives and production goals. Immediate Joiner Preferred
