Product Designer

As the Lead Product Designer in the sports industry, you will be responsible for spearheading the end-to-end design process of digital and/or physical products, such as wearables, performance apps, fan engagement platforms, and e-commerce for sports gear. Your primary focus will be on delivering user-centered solutions by collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and sports stakeholders. Your role will involve conducting user research and usability testing with athletes, coaches, or sports consumers to validate design decisions. You will need to translate complex sports-specific problems into elegant, functional, and visually compelling designs. It is essential to stay abreast of sports technology trends, athletic performance needs, and industry innovations to ensure that your designs are cutting-edge. Furthermore, you will champion accessibility, inclusivity, and performance in all design deliverables. To facilitate a rapid design iteration process, you will be expected to deliver high-fidelity prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, or similar software. Collaboration on branding and marketing initiatives will also be part of your responsibilities to maintain consistency across all touchpoints.
