Ltd., Madurai Job Summary We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer with experience in Architectural Decorative Metal Products. You will conceptualize, prototype, and finalize both functional and aesthetic designs for residential and commercial applications. Product categories include: Fencing Railings Wall Dividers Gates Furniture Wall Cladding Lighting Poles Doors & Windows Key Responsibilities Follow the product development process: Concept ➝ Detailed Drawing with BOM ➝ 3D Modeling ➝ Prototype / Manufacturing Design 2D/3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, 3ds Max, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Lumion, Blender, KeyShot) Design plug-and-play product concepts suitable for mass production and modular installation Innovate with materials, finishes, locking systems, and automation compatibility Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) as per the detailed drawing Collaborate with architects and management to finalize product concepts Coordinate with prototype makers, metal foremen, and fabrication teams Create and revise technical drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication specifications Conduct market research on traditional and contemporary design trends Support prototyping, testing, and implementation Prepare presentations and documentation for internal use and client discussions Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Design Minimum 3 years of experience designing metal products (gates, railings, grills, etc.) Experience with sheet metal fabrication and architectural fittings Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, etc.) Familiarity with MIG/TIG welding and metal structures Strong visualization skills with attention to proportion and structure Knowledge of Indian or international design and safety standards Salary & Benefits ₹20,000 – ₹35,000/month (based on experience and skill) EPF: 12% (6% company + 6% employee) Performance Bonus + Yearly Bonus Official uniform provided after successful completion of 3-month probation Work Schedule Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (including breaks) Days: Monday to Saturday Leave: Must be applied 2 days in advance (emergencies accepted) Holidays: Government and local holidays only Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
