Product Designer - Home Furnishings

As a Product Designer at House of Anita Dongre, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and development of hard goods in the Home category. Your creative and detail-oriented approach will be essential in creating compelling products that resonate with our brand ethos. Key Responsibilities: - Conceptualize and design new products in the home hard goods segment, excluding furniture, taking them from ideation to final prototype. - Conduct market and trend research to identify design opportunities in categories like kitchen tools, tableware, storage solutions, and bath accessories. - Collaborate closely with sourcing, merchandising, and production teams to ensure design feasibility, material availability, and cost-effectiveness. - Coordinate with artisans, vendors, and manufacturers to bring design concepts to life in the form of samples and final products. - Maintain alignment with brand aesthetics and design language while introducing innovation to product offerings. - Participate in range planning, seasonal launches, and brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field from NID or a similar college. - 3-5 years of experience in product design, with a preference for expertise in home hard goods like tableware, kitchen accessories, and home dcor. - Strong understanding of materials such as metal, ceramic, wood, and glass. - Proficiency in sketching, prototyping, and communication skills. - Awareness of current design trends and sustainable practices in home design.,
