Product Designer (Home and Decor)

Lovedwell is a vibrant and growing brand, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic and creative Product Designer to join our tight-knit team. As a Product Designer at Lovedwell, you’ll play a key role in shaping the aesthetic and functional aspects of our product line - from initial concepts to the final product. You’ll help us push the boundaries of design, creating pieces that reflect our brand’s unique identity while meeting the needs of our consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate Lovedwell's Aesthetic: Ensure that all products align with Lovedwell’s core design values, creating beautiful and functional pieces that our customers will love.
• Conduct Market Research: Stay ahead of trends by researching consumer preferences and emerging design trends in the home and decor industry.
• Create Concepts and Prototypes: Develop sketches, renderings, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Leverage Design Tools: Use 3D modeling software and other design tools to create detailed product specifications.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Partners: Work closely with vendors to ensure the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of your designs.
• Manage the Product Development Process: Oversee product development from ideation to production, working with multiple teams and vendors across different product lines.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A degree in design (or equivalent experience) with at least 1 year of industry experience.
• Proven experience designing products for home decor, with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create beautiful, functional designs.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Corel Draw.
• Ability to create prints and designs that add value to collections.
• Strong sketching and visualization skills to effectively communicate design concepts.
• In-depth knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and product development cycles.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and solve problems creatively.
• Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
