Product Designer

Job Purpose:

To design and develop innovative, efficient, and cost-effective bicycle frames, components, and accessories that meet product specifications, production feasibility, and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare

   2D and 3D designs

   for new bicycle models and components using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
2. Work on

   plastic, and die/mould designs

   related to bicycle parts and accessories.
3. Collaborate with

   production, tool room, and purchase teams

   to ensure design practicality and manufacturability.
4. Support

   R&D projects

   , prototype development, and product improvement initiatives.
5. Maintain proper documentation for all design drawings and revisions.
   
6. Conduct

   fitment trials

   and implement design modifications as required.
7. Assist in

   vendor development

   by providing technical drawings and design inputs.
8. Ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards in all designs.
   

Key Skills Required:

• Expertise in

  SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Creo / CATIA

• Strong understanding of

  mechanical design principles

• Knowledge of

  manufacturing processes

  (moulding, machining, welding, etc.)
• Good visualization and detailing skills
  
• Ability to read and prepare

  engineering drawings and GD&T

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  

Qualification & Experience:

• Qualification:

  Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Industrial, or Product Design

• Experience:

  24 years in design (preferably in

  bicycle / auto component / sheet metal

  industry)
