Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using
SolidWorks.
Develop and test prototypes for new products and components.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and functionality.
Conduct simulations and stress analyses to validate design integrity with SolidWorks simulation module.
Maintain and update design documentation and standards.
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Domain skills:

Mechanical background, preferably in Tube mill design & manufacturing or special purpose machines, but not limited or required.
Experienced in sheet metal design.
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
Ability to translate concepts into detailed designs and technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience of 3+ years as a Design Engineer with proficiency in SolidWorks & limited simulation knowledge is sufficient
