Role: Yugabyte is expanding and is seeking an experienced Product Data Analyst to enhance the product-led experience. If you are passionate about mapping user journeys, capturing in-product events, analyzing user behavior, optimizing user experience, and reducing user time to value through continuous experimentation, this role is for you. As a Product Data Analyst, responsibilities include managing all data and analytics within SaaS and On-premises offerings, overseeing in-product experiments, data capture, building data pipelines, and creating reports and dashboards to communicate user journey insights. Collaboration with product management, engineering, marketing, and design teams is essential to ensure the right data is captured for continuous improvement in user engagement. Responsibilities: - Build the analytics foundation to understand, monitor, and enhance YugabyteDB user journey. - Collaborate with various teams to translate in-product data insights into feature improvements and identify opportunities for in-context user engagement and support. - Define key metrics for measuring product-led sales success, build dashboards, and reports to drive decision-making. - Develop a data-driven understanding of user Acquisition, Activation, Time-to-value, and Revenue. - Deepen insights into user behaviors through analytics and experimentation to identify strategic business opportunities. - Lead experimentation, execution, and evaluate their impact on key metrics. - Standardize analytical processes across functions and influence roadmap development and strategic decision-making. - Promote a data-driven, test-and-learn culture through storytelling with data. Requirements: - Preferably a quantitative degree or equivalent experience in fields like Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Engineering. An advanced degree is a plus. - 4-12 years of analytics experience, preferably with PLG and in-product analytics exposure. - Proficiency in constructing metric frameworks to understand user behaviors. - Familiarity with analytics products like Rudderstack, Segment, Pendo, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Intercom, etc. - Advanced SQL skills, data pipeline construction, and query optimization. - Ability to deliver reporting and insights using a data visualization platform, with experience in Looker being advantageous. - Led experimentation and conducted statistical/predictive analysis to advise decision-making. - Cultivated a culture of continuous improvement through clear direction, setting expectations, and engaging cross-functional teams. - Strong communication and storytelling skills with a history of achieving cross-functional results.
