Role & responsibilities
Product & Architecture Strategy
- Define and own the end-to-end product architecture, including system design, integrations, and technology stack
- Align product architecture with long-term business strategy, scalability, and market requirements
- Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and platforms to support product growth
Design & Technical Leadership
- Create high-level and detailed architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical blueprints
- Ensure adherence to architectural principles, coding standards, and best practices
- Lead architectural reviews and provide guidance on complex technical decisions
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Collaborate with Engineering, UX/UI, DevOps, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Communicate architecture decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Governance, Quality & Security
- Ensure product architecture meets performance, security, compliance, and reliability standards
- Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the product development cycle
- Support release planning, technical debt management, and continuous improvement initiatives
Innovation & Future Readiness
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices
- Drive innovation by proposing architectural improvements and new capabilities
- Support modernization, cloud adoption, and platform scalability initiatives
Preferred candidate profile
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in system architecture, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native architectures
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Proficiency in backend technologies (Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, etc.)
- Understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL), messaging systems, and integration patterns
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
