Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist at Schneider Electric, you will be an integral part of the Secure Power Division, specializing in Standard & Engineering to Order (ETO) solutions for prefabricated data centers and power modules in the Data Center sector. Your primary responsibilities will involve maintaining the MRP system, coordinating timely material delivery from suppliers, and providing input to LOB management on supplier performance. You will play a crucial role in procuring materials to meet customer requirements at optimal costs, ensuring inventory levels are maintained, addressing components shortfall, and supporting product evolution. Your duties will include administrating business transactions with suppliers, obtaining supplier quotations, supporting product phase in/out, and providing management with price change reports and supplier status updates. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, ideally in manufacturing or modular construction. Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP) and Microsoft Excel is essential, along with strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Your ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with cross-functional teams will be crucial for success in this position. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing and mapping supply planning, consolidating project data, presenting progress to managers, and driving supplier transitions in alignment with business priorities.
