As a Procurement Practice Associate at Accenture, you will go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on goods and services essential for their day-to-day business operations. You will work as a part of the Procurement management team, utilizing a systematic approach for buying all goods and services needed for a company to remain sustainable. Your responsibilities will include identifying needs, finding and qualifying suppliers, requesting proposals, negotiating contracts, managing deliveries, and analyzing results. Your role will also involve managing post-PO activities, tracking orders, expediting deliveries, handling invoice exceptions, maintaining procurement records, supporting client communication, and updating SOPs and learning logs. It is essential to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure a smooth client experience. This role requires you to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality are crucial. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential. The primary working hours are from 7 PM to 4 AM US CST, with a requirement to work in all shifts. **Key Responsibilities:** - Process requisitions for clients, ensuring completeness and accuracy - Create purchase orders as per SLAs and KPIs - Manage post-PO activities, including tracking orders and expediting deliveries - Assist with invoice exception processing, identifying discrepancies, and escalating issues for resolution - Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procurement activities - Support client communication and maintain positive relationships - Manage and update the SOPs and learning log - Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors - Work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines **Qualifications Required:** - BCom degree - 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement operations - Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts.
