Procurement Operation Specialist

As a Procurement operations specialist in the Semiconductor Industry with Tata Electronics, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and inventory management of raw materials, components, and supplies required for greenfield semiconductor manufacturing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Purchase Order creation & management, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies - Process inventory Purchasing requisitions through planning systems - Process non-inventory requisitions through Procurement requisition systems - Engage with suppliers to confirm pricing, delivery, and terms on purchases - Coordinate for on-time PO approvals and Goods Receipts - Identify and solve systemic issues regarding the Purchasing process - Develop procedures (SOPs) on related Procurement processes - Drive improvements in procurement process & systems to achieve internal customer satisfaction - Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements throughout the procurement process **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred) or equivalent - Certification in Supply Chain Management is preferred - Proficiency in supply chain management software, specifically SAP ERP system - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Proficient in Microsoft tools (Excel, Power Point) - 3+ years of experience in procurement pertaining to Indirect, Tools, spare parts, or materials **Preferred requirements:** - Familiarity with semiconductor equipment and spare part assemblies - Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus - Understanding of fab operations In this role, you will need excellent project management skills, strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.,
