As a candidate for the role, you will be responsible for the following: Role Overview: You will be involved in strategic planning and negotiation to procure packing and commodity materials with a focus on cost efficiency and quality. Additionally, you will oversee quality checks and maintain detailed records for procurement, cleaning, stocking, and dispatch to ensure smooth warehouse and regional operations. Building strong relationships with vendors, coordinating freight and logistics, and handling comprehensive documentation will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Procure packing and other materials while maintaining cost efficiency and quality through proper planning and price negotiation. - Ensure quality checks are conducted and records are maintained for materials loaded and offloaded in trucks. - Procure commodities at the best possible rates. - Conduct internal quality checks on each consignment lot and maintain records. - Generate reports on quantities of commodities procured, cleaned, stocked, dispatched, and other reports as required. - Manage vendor relationships with cleaning vendors, CHA, freight forwarders, labor contractors, and other vendors. - Ensure timely completion of documentation at every stage. - Arrange containers as per bookings made by the logistic team. - Handle local matters and coordinate logistics with freight forwarders. - Take responsibility for all warehouse, procurement, and operations activities in the region. Qualification Required: - Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, and logistics. - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. - Knowledge of warehouse operations and supply chain management practices.
