Stipend: 10k to 15k

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our team. The intern will assist the procurement department with sourcing, vendor management, purchase orders, and inventory tracking. This role offers hands-on experience in supply chain and procurement processes within a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and evaluating suppliers/vendors.
• Support the preparation of purchase orders and procurement documents.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand procurement needs.
• Assist in negotiating with suppliers for cost-effective and timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment processes.
• Prepare reports and maintain procurement databases.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the procurement team.

Requirements

• Prefer degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
