Job Description

As a Procurement Executive for food and provision supplies, your role will involve managing vendor relationships, sourcing, purchasing, and conducting quality checks of food products. Your background in Catering, Hotel Management, or Food Technology is highly valued, especially if you are a recent graduate from the classes of 2024 or 2025. Previous experience in the food supply industry would be beneficial for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for food & provision items. - Maintain quality standards and ensure timely delivery of supplies. - Conduct market research on pricing, quality, and availability of food items. - Manage purchase orders, bills, and vendor records. - Collaborate closely with stores, accounts, and operations team to forecast requirements. - Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company standards. - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishments. - Maintain cost control and reduce wastage in procurement. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Catering Science, Food Technology, or related field (2024/2025 passed outs can apply). - Prior experience or internship in food procurement/supply chain (preferred). - Strong knowledge of food items, quality standards, and supply chain processes. - Good communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. - Familiarity with ERP systems / MS Excel (preferred). The work location for this position is in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and the role requires in-person presence. Graduates specializing in Catering/Food Technology from the classes of 2024/2025 with internship/project exposure in food procurement are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with cutting, naming, and differences of food (Veggies & Meat) / provision items is considered advantageous. Experience in food handling for at least 1 year is required for this role. Applicants must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu before starting work.,
