Procurement Engineer

As a Procurement Engineer at our company located in Kaman Vasai, you will play a crucial role in managing the sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials essential for our projects. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure smooth coordination with vendors and internal technical teams, ultimately leading to timely and cost-effective procurement. Your responsibilities will include sending inquiries to multiple vendors for quotations, preparing and issuing purchase orders, and evaluating vendor quotations through detailed comparison sheets. You will work closely with the technical team to clarify specifications, identify and develop new vendors, and ensure a strong supplier base. Additionally, you will be responsible for regular follow-ups with transporters and vendors to guarantee timely material delivery, as well as negotiating with vendors to secure the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
