Procurement Engineer

As a Procurement Engineer at Autoprint, a leading manufacturer of printing and packaging machinery, your role is crucial in supporting the growing operations of the company. Your responsibilities will include: - Procuring materials and components for manufacturing operations - Evaluating and selecting vendors based on criteria such as price, quality, and delivery timelines - Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials - Conducting inward quality checks in coordination with the quality team - Maintaining and updating procurement records in ERP systems - Driving cost reduction initiatives and optimizing procurement strategies - Collaborating with cross-functional teams including production, design, and quality - Developing vendors and managing vendor relationships - Willingness to travel for vendor visits, audits, and negotiations Qualifications & Requirements: - Education: Diploma (DME) or Bachelors Degree (BE) in Mechanical Engineering - Experience: 3 to 5 years in material procurement in the manufacturing industry - Experience in inward quality checking is preferred - Strong knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel - Excellent negotiation and communication skills - Willingness to travel as required - Experience in cost reduction initiatives and vendor management is an added advantage In addition to the challenging and rewarding role, Autoprint offers benefits such as EPF, bonus, and incentives.,
