Process Improvement Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end process improvement initiatives within assigned PODs.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities using data and field insights.
  • Conduct root cause analysis using structured problem-solving techniques (5 Whys, Fishbone, RCA).
  • Assist in developing, updating, and standardizing SOPs, workflows, and process documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Product, Analytics, and Strategy to drive improvements.
  • Analyze performance metrics and support the execution of improvement plans.
  • Track KPIs and ensure successful implementation, adoption, and scalability of new processes.
  • Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement routines.
  • Contribute to automation and process digitization initiatives in collaboration with Product/Tech teams.
  • Provide insights on operational risks and support mitigation planning.
  • Support training and knowledge-sharing efforts for new or updated processes.

Experience Required:

  • 2-6 years of experience in Process Improvement, Operations Excellence, Business Operations, Quality, Lean, or Continuous Improvement roles.
  • Hands-on experience executing workflow improvements in fast-paced operational environments.
  • Practical knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver process enhancements.
  • Ability to analyze operational data, dashboards, and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Experience creating SOPs, process maps, and documentation using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro.
  • Exposure to automation, digital transformation, or low-code/no-code tools (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier, internal workflow platforms).
  • Experience participating in audits, compliance checks, or quality review mechanisms.
  • Experience conducting RCA sessions and implementing corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Proven ability to drive small to medium-scale improvement projects with measurable impact.
  • Exposure to field operations, vendor interactions, or on-ground workflow assessments (preferred).
