Job Description

Role & responsibilities Optimize and validate injection molding processes for new and existing parts. Conduct mold trials, establish and document process parameters using scientific molding principles. Troubleshoot molding issues such as flash, sink marks, short shots, warpage, etc. Collaborate with tooling and maintenance teams for mold modifications and improvements. Prepare and modify plant/facility/machine layouts using AutoCAD . Support capacity planning and layout updates for new machine installations and line setups. Maintain accurate process documentation: setup sheets, control plans, and work instructions. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues. Participate in PPAP, APQP, and FMEA activities in coordination with quality and NPD teams. Drive continuous improvement through Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies. Train shop floor teams on process adherence, safety, and quality. Preferred candidate profile Proficient in AutoCAD for layout design and modification. Strong understanding of injection molding machines, hot runner systems, and thermoplastic materials (PP, ABS, PC, Nylon, etc.). Hands-on experience with process validation and defect analysis tools (Ishikawa, 5 Whys, etc.). Familiar with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 standards. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills. Note: Candidates with a maximum 30-day notice period will be considered. Priority will be given to those available within 15 days.
