Process Engineer

Specific Accountabilities (Roles & Responsibilities)

• Assess existing processes focusing on

  productivity, quality, and safety

  .
• Evaluate

  production capacity

  based on current technology and product mix.
• Create, configure, and develop

  industrial processes and operating instructions

  .
• Propose and implement

  process improvements

  to reduce costs, improve capacity, and ensure quality & safety.
• Develop and standardize

  operating instructions

  for upgraded processes.
• Support

  SAP configuration

  (BOMs, routing, production planning) and implement

  automation

  (MRP runs, inventory management).
• Standardize

  production technologies and processes

  across all OEM manufacturing units.
• Optimize

  plant layouts

  to maximize productivity and minimize space utilization.
• Conduct

  process simulations and troubleshooting

  .
• Collaborate with Production Managers to create

  process documents & SOPs

  .
• Monitor

  system upgrades

  and ensure smooth implementation.
• Assess and improve

  Lean practices

  through training and periodic reviews.
• Lead

  Kaizen events

  ,

  Value Stream Mapping

  , and other

  continuous improvement initiatives

  .
• Assist in developing

  new production methods

  aligned with Lean principles.
• Focus on

  inventory optimization, availability, and standardization

  of manufacturing/assembly cells.
• Manage the

  Continuous Improvement Program

  , driving employee participation across facilities.
• Provide

  monthly reports with KPIs and insights

  for leadership.
• Ensure

  safety compliance

  and maintain a safe working environment.

Computer / Technical Skills

• Proficiency in

  Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

  .
• Experience with

  SAP

  in production planning, routing, BOM, and automation.
• Strong

  engineering and technical background

  preferred.
• Excellent

  communication, leadership, and motivational skills

  .
• Ability to

  innovate and communicate effectively

  , both written and verbal.

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum:

  High School diploma

  or equivalent with 5+ years of hands-on industry experience.
• Preferred:

  Bachelor’s degree

  in Engineering/Technical discipline.
• Proven record of

  managerial and process improvement skills

  .

Experience & Knowledge

• Minimum

  5 years’ experience

  in industrial engineering and/or manufacturing.
• At least

  3 years of Six Sigma/Lean tools usage

  and project management in a continuous improvement setting.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

  certification required;

  Black Belt preferred

  .
• Strong experience in

  training, coaching, performance monitoring, and process management

  .
• Proven ability to

  manage budgets, implement cost-saving measures, and contribute to profitability

  .
• Demonstrated commitment to

  safety, quality, and timely delivery

  .
