Process Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Lead New Product Implementation (NPI) and ensure smooth transfer of new products to mass production by guiding the production team and coordinating with all support functions.
  
• Act as the primary contact point between R&D, Electrical, and Production teams for product transition and process-related activities.
  
• Prepare and update Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Part Numbers (PNs), Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Product Change Orders (PCO), and verify technical drawings.
  
• Conduct fault analysis of Analog & Digital PCBs and perform Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) for product and process failures.
  
• Support product qualification and continuous improvement initiatives through cross-functional collaboration.
  
• Possess hands-on knowledge of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and PCBA manufacturing/assembly processes.
  
• Drive process automation, and design and implement jigs and fixtures to enhance production efficiency.
  
• Provide ESD knowledge sharing and conduct digital setups training for production operators.
  
• Assist the local Sales team with troubleshooting of digital products.
  
• Participate in Cross-Functional Team (CFT) meetings and support ongoing continuous improvement projects.
  
• Work in shift-based operations as per production requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in

  Electronics Manufacturing

  or

  Process Engineering

  .
• Looking for Candidates only from

  Electronics or Mechatronics product manufacturing companies

  with hands-on experience in

  SMT, PCB Design, and NPI

  .
• Knowledge of

  IPC 610 & 620 standards

  .
• Basic understanding of

  PCBA design, CAN BUS, GUI, circuit debugging etc..

• Familiarity with

  SMT process, Altium tools

  , and

  hand soldering techniques

  .
• Experience with

  RS232/RS485 communication protocols

  and

  Advantech modules

  .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive

  RCCA

  and

  continuous improvement

  .
• Effective communication, coordination, and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
