Process and Proposal Manager

Job Description Job Title- Manager-Process & Proposal Engineering Department- Marketing Division- Cement Reporting to Business Head Location Pune Experience 8 to 10 Years Qualification BE Mechanical/Chemical Critical Skills & Personal Attributes 1. Good process engineering knowledge of Cement Plant and Grinding Process 2. Technical knowledge of various bought out items 3. Knowledge and Experience in Cost Estimation of Cement Plant Equipment and Projects 4. Process Design, Sizing and Selection of various equipment in Cement Plant 5. Familiar with Sizing Calculation for Ball Mills, Pr-heater and Pr e-calciner, Rotary Kiln, Clinker Cooler, Dynamic Separator etc. 6. Familiar with operation and commissioning of the cement plants. 7. Good presentation skills and communication skills 8. Good interpersonal relationship skills 9. Able to work as team 10. Ready to travel for meeting with customers Main responsibility 1. Tender evaluation 2. Technical discussions with customer during bidding stage. 3. Interaction with internal functions such as engineering, electrical and instrumentation, layout engineering etc. for preparation of technical offer, cost estimation and commercial offer. 4. Preparation and compilation of technical offer for complete cement plant projects 5. Preparation of cost estimation for complete cement plant projects 6. Interaction with various vendors for getting back-up quotations for various equipment 7. Visiting various customer, giving presentations to customers and maintain relationship with various customers. 8. Communication with customers during bidding stage 9. Sizing and selection of equipment such as ball mills, kilns, clinker cooler, separators etc. 10. Preparation of Purchase Specification of various equipment for releasing to Purchase. 11. Post order technical interaction with vendors. 12. Kick-off meeting with internal team members and customers. Knowledge 1. Knowledge of process engineering of cement plant is must 2. Knowledge of proposal engineering is required 3. Knowledge of cost estimation of cement plant project is must 4. commercial aspect of contracts 5.
