Job Description

Role Overview: You will be actively involved in the initial setup of new funds take-on and will collaborate with independent tax specialists, lawyers, and notaries during the setup process. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the funds, interacting with stakeholders such as investors and fund managers, handling fund accounts, and preparing periodic and regulatory reports for the fund entities. Furthermore, you will play a key role in calculating the funds" Net Asset Value, preparing financial statements, managing audits, and reviewing other fund-related reports. It will also be your responsibility to review tax returns, maintain relationships with tax authorities, and accurately record all client-related activities for proper invoicing. Lastly, you will be expected to proactively take on additional responsibilities and administrative tasks as needed by your managers or clients. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in the initial setup of new funds take-on and collaborate with external parties - Manage day-to-day fund operations and communicate with investors and fund managers - Handle fund accounts, prepare periodic and regulatory reports - Calculate Net Asset Value, prepare financial statements, manage audits, and review reports - Review tax returns, maintain relationships with tax authorities, and record client activities for invoicing - Proactively take on additional responsibilities and administrative tasks as required Qualifications Required: - Degree level education in Finance, Accounting, or Economics - Relevant experience in fund administration, audit, or fiduciary services is advantageous - Knowledge of fund industry, valuation, and accounting - Basic understanding of accounting for investment products - Experience with closed-ended funds in real estate private equity or debt space is a plus - Understanding of securities commonly encountered in the fund industry - Ability to account for various securities like equities, bonds, options, and futures - Strong team spirit, ability to build client relationships, and proactive approach to tasks without constant direction,
