Position Overview:
We are hiring a Medical Authorization Specialist with hands-on experience in handling prior authorizations for medical procedures and treatments in the US healthcare domain. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in working with insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:
● Obtain prior authorizations from insurance providers for medical procedures, services, and medications.● Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients.● Review and interpret medical documentation to support authorization requests.● Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve issues or gather additional information.● Ensure timely follow-up on pending authorizations.● Maintain accurate records and documentation in system databases.● Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all authorizations are obtained before scheduled procedures.

Required Experience:
● 6 months to 3 years of experience in medical authorization or prior authorization process (US Healthcare).● Knowledge of insurance carriers, payer guidelines, and healthcare terminology.

Skills Required:
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.● Strong understanding of US healthcare insurance and authorization workflows.● Attention to detail and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.● Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with healthcare software systems.
