Print Colorist

Role Overview: You will be responsible for ensuring accurate color matching on fabric, working closely with designers, technicians, and production teams to achieve precise color reproduction. Your role will involve conducting color trials and adjustments to achieve desired color outcomes, collaborating with the design team to understand color concepts and requirements, maintaining accurate records of color formulations and adjustments, working collaboratively to resolve color-related challenges, and verifying color accuracy between digital and physical samples. Additionally, you will be required to maintain color consistency throughout the design-to-production pipeline. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure accurate color matching on fabric - Conduct color trials and adjustments - Collaborate with the design team to understand color concepts and requirements - Maintain accurate records of color formulations and adjustments - Work collaboratively to resolve color-related challenges - Verify color accuracy between digital and physical samples - Maintain color consistency throughout the design-to-production pipeline Qualifications Required: - Minimum 6 months of experience as a Print Colorist or in a similar role in the textile industry will be a plus - Freshers are welcomed from SNDT (Design), Rachana Sansad (Fine Arts), and NIFT - Strong understanding of color theory and color matching principles - Proficiency in using color matching software - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Additional Details: The company GM Fabrics is hiring for the role of "Print colorist" to be part of their Design team. The work location is Marol, Andheri(E) with 6 working days a week (All Sundays off and 2 Saturdays off in a month).
