Principal Structural Engineer

You will be responsible for developing safe and efficient structural solutions, conducting design analysis, and preparing calculations. Additionally, you will manage a team of Senior Engineers, Engineers, CAD, and Revit technicians to ensure the successful delivery of all project work. It will be your responsibility to check all design output, coordinate with other disciplines, review designs, and ensure timely delivery as per the agreed program. Furthermore, you must ensure that all design work is carried out in accordance with Mott MacDonald's quality standard procedures. To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 15+ years of experience in International projects related to the design and analysis of structural designs of buildings and related structures. You should have expertise in RCC, PT, and Structural Steel design, as well as the ability to effectively manage a team and ensure timely project deliverables. Proficiency in working on Bids and Proposals, estimating manhours, and familiarity with dashboard presentations, particularly with power BI, is essential. You should also be well-versed in various structural framing systems, dynamic analysis of Highrise buildings following International codes, and the use of design software such as Etabs, SAFE, Ram Concept, Robot, STAAD, RAPT, and similar tools. Experience with Revit Structure is highly regarded due to Mott MacDonald's leadership in BIM adoption. Your knowledge of international design standards and codes will be crucial in guiding the team and meeting project deliverables with quality and within the set timeframe.
