Job Description

This person will influence and execute the technical strategy and roadmap for products, making decisions on technologies that are robust and scalable
As a Principal Software Engineer specializing in design leading the development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver technical solutions that align with business -on role, requiring extensive experience in system supporting the development of Design & Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of high-availability, scalable, and performant systems
Architect solutions to meet business and technical requirements
Database Expertise: Utilize your expertise in both SQL and NoSQL databases to design data models, write optimized queries, and ensure robust data storage strategies
Work with teams to evaluate and implement the right database technologies based on system needs
Hands-On Development: Act as a hands-on engineer, writing code, reviewing pull requests, and providing technical mentorship to junior and senior engineers
Technical Leadership: Provide direction and mentorship to engineering teams, helping them solve complex problems and making key technical decisions
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of technical initiatives

who understands the benefits of also understands the challenges collaborating closely with Product Managers multiple sophisticated software development tasks remain engaged with the latest trends and understand operational challenges to continually evolve the application delivery process and platform components , Engineering, or related technical or business field of full software development lifecycle, with experience in Agile development (Scrum, XP, Pair Programming)

Extensive Experience in System Design: Proven experience in designing and building complex, scalable systems, with a strong understanding of software architecture patterns, such as microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.

Programming Skills:

in Java programming language, RESTful Spring ecosystem. Strong understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Embraces a shift-left mindset by integrating testing and quality early in development lifecycle and follows an API-first approach to design scalable and maintainable services.

SQL & NoSQL Expertise: Advanced knowledge of SQL (eg, , PostgreSQL, etc) and NoSQL (eg, MongoDB, Cassandra etc) databases, including performance tuning, schema design, and query optimization. Also, hands-on experience in managing and analyzing large- platforms such as Databricks. : Solid experience in designing, -based systems for real-time message processing, stream processing, and even-driven architectures. Proficient in Kafka producers/consumers.

Cloud & DevOps Experience: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of infrastructure as code is a plus.

Experience in exploring and AI tools to enhance development efficiency is highly valued. Familiarity with tools like GitHub Copilot or similar AI technologies for data analysis, or improving productivity is a str experience leading technical teams, providing mentorship, and driving engineering excellence.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges and make sound decisions.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
