You will be part of McKinsey's Tech Ecosystem function, responsible for developing and delivering all technology solutions for the firm's internal use. Based in one of our global offices, you'll work on engineering challenges critical to the firm's success, collaborating with colleagues across multiple locations to deliver innovative, secure, and intelligent platforms. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a diverse team to develop impactful AI-driven solutions, write, test, debug, and maintain application code, solve complex technical challenges, and stay current with emerging technologies. Your work will involve driving innovation and delivering tangible impact across the firm. Minimum qualifications for this role include 8 years of software engineering experience, proficiency in Python, SQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript, hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks like React, proficiency in backend development using Node.js, exposure to languages like Golang, Elixir, or Rust, and expertise in cloud-native applications and RESTful APIs. Familiarity with IAM protocols, SQL and NoSQL databases, and integrating language models and generative AI features are also beneficial for this position.,
