Principal Software Engineer (C / .NET)

As a Principal Software Engineer (Technical Architect) specializing in .NET Core technologies, your role will involve leading the design and architecture of scalable and maintainable software solutions. You will collaborate with other architects and managers to establish technical guidelines and standards, develop and integrate Web APIs using .NET Core and .NET MVC, and ensure high performance and reliability. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing new features, coordinating development efforts with cross-functional teams, and participating in code reviews to mentor other engineers on best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and architecture of scalable and maintainable software solutions, establishing technical guidelines and standards in collaboration with other architects and managers. - Develop and integrate Web APIs using .NET Core and .NET MVC, ensuring high performance and reliability. - Design and develop new features for future product releases and provide resolution for product defects. - Coordinate development efforts with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines. - Participate in code reviews to mentor other engineers on best practices and promote adherence to coding standards. - Collaborate with Product teams to assess the feasibility of technical architectures and provide input on technical solutions. - Introduce and evaluate new technologies, build proof of concepts (POCs), and advocate for their adoption where beneficial. - Troubleshoot complex production issues, conduct detailed root cause analysis (RCA), and implement effective solutions. - Engage in agile activities, including sprint planning and technical design reviews, contributing to the overall success of the development process. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, Web API, OOPS, SOLID principles, EF Core, and SQL Server. - Solid understanding of design and architectural patterns, including MVC, MVVM, and microservices architecture. - Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and AWS/Azure cloud services is essential. - Strong experience in architecting and building multi-threaded, distributed systems. - Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance. - Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues. - Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.,
