Basic Qualification BE/B Tech/ M.E/M Tech/MS/MCA/MSc. UIDAI may relax education qualification criteria in case of experienced & highly deserving candidates.

Professional Experience

The candidate must possess 15+ years of experience in Information Technology with a strong focus on cybersecurity and enterprise architecture.

Have proven leadership experience in the information security domain in large-scale organizations in India or abroad.

Demonstrate expertise in overseeing the design and enforcement of security architecture across complex IT systems.

Show experience working with private cloud security, including data protection, identity & access management, and compliance.

Excellent understanding of cryptographic algorithms with hands on implementation experience. Good skills in any of the following Language : C,C++,JAVA,GO,RUST

It is expected that the candidate Has spent at least 10 years in senior leadership positions Exhibits excellent team leadership skills with the ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary setting Has exceptional communication skills to handle interactions across the entire team consisting of junior team members right upto the executive

Job Profile

Job Objective Provide strategic leadership and technical expertise in designing and platforms. Ensure end-to-end security in line with best practices and evolving threat landscapes.

Roles & Responsibilities

The candidate is expected to Lead the design and implementation of application security architecture, covering all modules, APIs, and ecosystem integrations.

Audit and assess application components to define security requirements and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

Ensure application integrity and data security throughout the software lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance.

Provide expertise in private cloud security, ensuring alignment with Aadhaar's deployment strategy and data residency requirements.

Stay updated and incorporate advancements in cybersecurity technologies, cryptographic standards, tools, and practices.

Collaborate with internal and external development, DevSecOps, and operations teams to embed security at every stage of development.

Support vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response planning.

Assist in building cybersecurity talent and capabilities within the organization by mentoring teams and setting best practices.
