Principal Product Engineer

As a Product Engineer (PE) at Cadence, your role will involve bridging the gap between customers, R&D, and field Application Engineers (AEs). You will be responsible for ensuring that existing flows and apps meet the ongoing needs of customers, as well as developing flows and requirements to address new verification challenges. Your collaboration with customers and R&D will drive the specification, implementation, and evaluation/benchmarking of new solutions. Additionally, you will play a key role in rolling out new features to AEs and customers, and may occasionally engage in hands-on work (remote or onsite) to help customers achieve their verification goals efficiently. This position offers you the opportunity to work on cutting-edge design styles and verification methodologies employed by leading semiconductor companies. You may also have the chance to travel worldwide for meetings, conferences, product demonstrations, evaluations, and competitive benchmarks at customer sites. Desired Technical Skills and Experience: - BE/B.Tech in CS or EE with a minimum of 10 years of industry experience. - Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in formal property verification technologies and methodologies. - Hands-on design experience using Verilog, System Verilog. - Proficiency in scripting languages like TCL, Perl, Python. - Ability and willingness to learn complex arithmetic algorithms. - Experience with Jasper is a plus. - Knowledge of arithmetic algorithms (e.g., multiplier implementations, dividers) is a plus. - Working knowledge of C++ is a plus. - Experience with formal software verification and HDL simulator is a plus. - Familiarity with sign-off methodologies using code & functional coverage is a plus.
