Principal Machine Learning Engineer

As a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for conducting research and introducing innovations to develop cutting-edge solutions in core functional areas including NLP, Speech Analysis (including Indian languages), Image Processing, Price Estimator, Digital Marketing, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Campaign Management, and Data Insights. Your role will involve providing technical thought leadership, coaching, and mentorship in the field of data science while collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams. Furthermore, you will play a key role in evolving the application of machine learning/deep learning to existing program and project disciplines. You will be instrumental in establishing standards in machine learning and statistical analysis to ensure consistency in quality across projects and teams, as well as identifying process efficiencies. Leading the technical solution design of various AI/ML-based projects and driving execution to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions will also be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should possess a graduation/post-graduation degree in Computer Science/Mathematics/Statistics (preference for IITs, IIITs, NITs, and other Tier-I colleges). Additionally, you must have hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, NLTK, NumPy, Pandas, Keras, TensorFlow, Theano, and other cognitive tools. A minimum of 7 years of experience in AI, ML, NLP, Deep Learning, Image Processing, Computer Vision, and Neural Networks is required, along with at least 2 years of experience in mentoring and managing ML projects and teams. Proficiency in Deep Learning Architectures like CNN, RNN, LSTM, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Gradient Boosting, XGBoost, and coding skills in Python are mandatory for this role. You should also be adept at regression, classification, and cluster analysis techniques, have experience with large datasets and distributed computing (Hive/Hadoop/Spark), possess excellent communication skills, and be comfortable with statistical methods and procedures. Moreover, your ability to take research risks, solve complex problems independently, build a strong Data Science organization, and foster a high-performance team culture will be crucial to your success in this position.
