As a Project Research Scientist in an ICMR funded project aimed at understanding speech pathologies using ultrasound imaging, you will be working under the guidance of Prof. Sahiinii Lemaina Veikho from HUSS, IIT Delhi and Prof. Deepti Vibha from AIIMS Neurology and RISE Lab, IIT Delhi. We are seeking individuals who hold a Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related areas. Your role will require a fundamental and deep knowledge of Machine learning, deep learning algorithms, and Generative AI. An essential requirement for this position is hands-on experience in developing models from scratch, which should be demonstrated through GitHub or public projects. While a background in audio, speech, language-based analysis, and/or medical imaging would be preferred, it is not mandatory. A strong publication record in high-quality conferences/journals will be highly valued. This is an on-site position located at IIT Delhi, where you can expect to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of engineers, linguists, and clinicians from top institutions in the country, including IIT Delhi and AIIMS New Delhi. You will have access to state-of-the-art facilities for speech assessment, including ultrasound imaging systems, electropalatography system, and 3D tongue imaging systems.
