Job Description

As a Principal Lead at Ameriprise India LLP, you will provide operational leadership and direction to technology operations team(s) focused on technical business applications and services. You will oversee network leadership by managing and delegating work effectively, ensuring cross-training of the team, and driving the proliferation of existing technology investments for business efficiencies. Your responsibilities will include product support maintenance & documentation, implementation, operational requirements, maintaining skill-set & relationships, and managing overall operational finance plan for voice & contact center technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Provide oversight and leadership to technology operations team and technical leads - Delegate and prioritize work to ensure effective execution of team/function deliverables - Ensure knowledge transfer and cross-training of team to effectively support the business - Drive proliferation of existing technology investments and capabilities to enable business efficiencies - Serve as an escalation point with vendors or users on current product capabilities and enhancement requests - Work closely with Team leads to maintain Documentations, CMDB, maintenances, contacts and contracts - Establish and manage goals, reporting needs, key performance indicators / early indicators and dashboards for measurement of operation success - Ensure operational readiness thru effective handoff of technologies and services into production - Develop and/or oversee development of configurations, monitoring procedures and break/fix documentation - Provide insight into operational requirements / needs and funding conversations - Participate in the annual budget and project planning process - Maintain a broad understanding of business, business needs, and how assigned technologies drive and support the business - Maintain strong relationship with key business partners driving technology consumption, understand their road map and align technologies capabilities to achieve it - Manage all business as usual changes work requests thru Service Catalog, critique volumes and trends on an ongoing basis, respond to escalations and SLA misses Qualification Required: - Graduate or PG with 10-13 years of experience in Networking - Experience in Networking Operations, Delivery resources [project teams], and Engineering and design functions of networks - Tech Management experience required - 50% hands-on experience and 2-3 years of experience in Team handling - Flexibility to attend US calls or meetings out of shift timings - Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, ITIL are a plus About Our Company: Ameriprise India LLP has been providing client-based financial solutions for 125 years, focusing on Asset Management and Advice, Retirement Planning, and Insurance Protection.
