Job Description

The Principal Lead in this role will provide operational leadership and direction to technology operations team(s) of significant scope and impact, including employees, contract personnel, and vendor partners. You will be dedicated to portfolios of technical business applications and services, overseeing operational maintenance, production support, incident management, development support, and proactive analysis. As the point-person and operational expert, you will handle issues, needs, and projects related to multiple areas of responsibility. Your key responsibilities will include providing oversight and leadership to the technology operations team and technical leads, delegating and prioritizing work for effective execution, ensuring knowledge transfer and cross-training within the team, and driving the proliferation of existing technology investments to enable business efficiencies. You will also serve as the escalation point for vendors or users on product capabilities and enhancement requests, maintain documentation, CMDB, maintenances, contacts, and contracts, and establish goals, reporting needs, key performance indicators, and dashboards for measuring operational success. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring operational readiness through the effective handoff of technologies and services into production, developing configurations, monitoring procedures, and break/fix documentation, providing insight into operational requirements and funding conversations, participating in budget and project planning processes, and maintaining relationships with key business partners to align technology capabilities with business needs. To qualify for this role, you should be a Graduate or PG with 10-13 years of experience in Networking, with experience in Networking Operations, Delivery resources, and Engineering and design functions of networks. Tech Management experience, hands-on experience, team handling experience, flexibility to attend US calls or meetings outside of shift timings, and certifications like CCNA, CCNP, and ITIL are preferred qualifications.
