Principal IS Architect - Clinical Computation Platform

In this vital role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the enterprise architecture vision and strategy for the Clinical Computation Platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a leader in architecture, with a strong background in designing scalable, secure, and resilient IT systems. You will work closely with partners to translate requirements into robust solutions and drive continuous improvement through innovation and the evaluation of emerging technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Architecture Strategy & Governance:

  Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture vision and strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives. You will create architectural roadmaps and establish governance frameworks, policies, and standards.

• Technology & Innovation:

  Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the enterprise. You will identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency, and also evaluate and recommend technologies and tools that best fit solution requirements.

• Solution Design & Implementation:

  Work with partners to gather and analyze requirements, designing systems that are scalable, secure, and resilient. You will ensure seamless integration between systems and platforms and have the ability to create proof-of-concept solutions to validate technical feasibility.

• Data Management:

  Develop and maintain logical, physical, and conceptual data models to support business needs. You will establish and enforce data standards, governance policies, and best practices, as well as design and manage metadata structures.

• Risk Management:

  Identify and mitigate architectural risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
• Expertise in

  cloud platforms

• Experience in evaluating and selecting technology vendors.
• Strong knowledge of the

  Clinical Research and Development Domain

Qualifications

• A Master's degree with 8-10 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree with 10-14 years of experience, or a Diploma with 14-18 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
