Data Pipeline Development: Lead the design and development of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Storage.

Technical Strategy: Define technical strategies and roadmaps for data engineering initiatives aligned with business goals.

Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in data engineering.

Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

Performance Optimization: Identify and implement optimizations to enhance data pipeline performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Monitoring and Maintenance: Establish monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure data pipeline reliability and proactively address issues.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data pipelines, processes, and architectural decisions.

Compliance and Security: Ensure data solutions comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices for security and data privacy.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Master's degree preferred.

5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

10+ years of overall experience in data engineering, ETL development, data modeling, and database architecture.

Expertise in GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.

Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or Scala for building data pipelines and ETL processes.

Proven ability to architect and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for deployment of data solutions.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
