Role Overview: As a Principal Group Engineering Manager at our company, you will be part of a team that provides advanced cyber security applications and services to enterprises amidst the AI transformation. Our focus is on delivering innovative solutions and continuously adapting to modern cyber security challenges. You will play a crucial role in developing products that incorporate AI and ML technologies for cyber security, specifically working on the Microsoft Defender suite which includes Microsoft Defender Antivirus and Advanced Threat Protection solutions. Your contributions will be instrumental in addressing the cybersecurity threats posed by mobile endpoints and delivering high-performance experiences to users globally. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and develop a diverse team dedicated to delivering exceptional user experiences and protection for Mobile endpoints. - Collaborate with Engineering Managers to build a sustainable organization and ensure scalable, reliable, and optimized product experiences and services. - Provide strong leadership, foster collaboration and trust, maintain a data-driven culture, and advance Microsoft 365 Security adoption. - Comfortably operate in start-up environments, demonstrate a drive for long-term architecture, and possess motivation to solve complex security challenges. Qualifications Required: - More than 15 years of experience as a software engineer on large-scale commercial projects. - Experience in mentoring and developing talent. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams. - Over 4 years of experience designing end user applications on mobile platforms (iOS and/or Android). - Proficiency in development principles and patterns, Swift, Objective-C, Java/JNI, debugging, and problem-solving. - Knowledge of secure software development life cycle and familiarity with software development tools. - Ability to work independently and manage technical and architectural dependencies. - Holds a BS or MS degree in Computer Science.
