The ideal candidate is someone with a high degree of passion for UX and comes with a brilliant craft of interface design. They’re self-starter, problem-solver and successful in combining technology and data into best-in-class outcomes. The candidate is energized by solving complex business problems and consistently effective in making high-judgment decisions at a rapid pace amidst the frequent ambiguity that comes with charting a course of action with no precedent. Roles & Responsibilities

You’ll lead the frontend development team and work closely with the product, design and cross org technology teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric products on the consumer-facing site.

You’re expected to mentor and train team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement business requirements.

Build workflows to streamline the business operations, and work on providing the best user experience and constantly improving the same.

Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices and apply them to the team's work.

Ensure the team delivers high-quality code that is maintainable and scale to millions of users per day.

Drive a code review culture and contribute to the development of frontend architecture and design, and help to identify and resolve performance issues.

Drive performance optimizations in your product with your team.

Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and daily stand-up meetings.

Experience Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

8+ years of experience in frontend development.

2+ years of experience leading and mentoring a team of developers.

Strong experience with javascript, android or iOS and React Native.

Experience with performance optimization and debugging.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Experience with Git, Jira, and other development tools.
