Principal Engineer - Audio Visual Systems

As an Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunication Engineer with 13 to 20 years of experience in Audio Visual Systems Engineering design (AV), you will be responsible for the following: - Possessing CTS certification is preferred - Demonstrating acoustics design fundamentals - Designing background music and speaker systems with SPL, STI, and RT calculations, validated through modelling (EASE or similar software) - Designing digital signage, IPTV with headend systems, and projector systems with line of sight calculations - Integrating AV systems for various spaces including board rooms, meeting rooms, restaurants, spas, swimming pools, auditoriums, conference rooms, and ballrooms - Utilizing CAD, 3D Revit, Sketch-up, Rhino software for design purposes - Integrating smart spaces and coordinating with Architectural, Interior designer, and Acoustics specialist - Designing converged network with cable management and power systems - Writing specifications and reports for projects - Collaborating with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless integration with other building systems - Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians - Developing and maintaining project documentation such as specifications, design drawings, and operational manuals - Staying updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to building management systems - Managing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for successful project delivery Additionally, employment with WSP India is contingent upon the successful completion of a background verification (BGV) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.
