About the Role As a Principal Engineer you will leverage your strong technical and programming skills to develop novel machine / deep learning solutions applied to image and video data. You will work within a broader team of researchers and help drive projects to defined conclusions. You will have the opportunity to use your imagination and vision to see what hasn t been done before in order to create better and new experiences in automobiles and consumer electronics. What You Will Do Develop and deploy new technologies using machine / deep learning for computer vision applications. Design systems and/or algorithms that measurably deliver breakthrough experiences and work with the broader team to build proof-of-concept demonstration systems. Evaluate existing technologies for market readiness through benchmarking. Transfer new technologies to commercialization teams. Write reports, white papers, research papers, and patent applications. What You Need to Be Successful Master s degree in a relevant area: electronics, computer science, electrical engineering, etc 8+ years of relevant experience Strong C++ and python programming skills Strong conceptual understanding of image processing and computer vision Demonstrated knowledge of machine / deep learning algorithms and techniques for efficient computer vision (efficient architectures, model optimizations, etc) Experience with porting and optimization of complex algorithms from python to C++ Familiarity with TensorFlow / Pytorch and relevant libraries for data science, along with hardware Bonus Points if You Have Master s by Research or PhD degree Experience authoring peer-reviewed publications and/or patents. Fundamentals of computer architecture and accelerated computing (GPUs / NPUs / SoCs) Experience in deploying and optimizing complex AI-based applications on embedded platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson and Raspberry Pi What Makes You Eligible Be willing to work from the Bangalore office.
