SummarySection

As part of the electrical engineering team you will be involved in the design of electrical systems for the oil and gas and/or power including renewable energies industries. This may be a conceptual study or front-end engineering design (FEED) or a design execution involving, the procurement of all equipment and detailed drawings for the construction and commissioning of an entire facility.

Responsibilities:

• Shall have good understanding of local /international codes and standards relevant to electrical design
• Shall be able to develop electrical layouts independently, coordinating with other disciplines
• Shall have expertise in 2D/3D tools
• Shall be able to prepare design/construction standards
• Shall be able to perform cable tray sizing and lighting calculations using AGI32 / Dialux
• Shall be able to manage small team of designers (2 - 5), planning and delivering scheduled tasks in addition to performing assigned tasks
• Shall be able to prepare and deliver presentations
• Understand and implement quality system requirements
• Shall be able to prepare material quantities for electrical bulks independently
• Shall be able to understand and implement inter discipline interfaces
• Shall have good written and oral communication skills
• Shall be able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment

Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, &Skills:

• Shall have a Diploma (Full Time) /Degree (Part Time) in Electrical Engineering
• 12 - 16 years of experience, with at least half the experience in Oil & Gas industry
