Principal Data Engineer

You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers on microservices and event-driven architectures, contributing to new feature development, architecture design, and technical problem-solving. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement data models aligned with business requirements - Define database schemas and relationships across systems - Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure data architecture meets business goals - Evaluate and recommend database technologies, data governance practices, and policies - Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and stay updated on industry trends **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field - Minimum 10-14 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in data architecture - Proven experience in designing and implementing data models, relational and NoSQL databases - Proficiency in data modeling tools, cloud data platforms, and services - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities **Additional Details:** Monotype offers a creative, innovative, and global working environment in the creative and software technology industry.
