As a Cloud & Data Engineer with expertise in the Actuarial domain, you will play a crucial role in designing and managing robust data and cloud infrastructure to support advanced analytics and AI initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data infrastructure and pipelines for analytics workloads. - Develop scalable data pipelines for efficient data processing, including data ingestion, transformation, and integration from multiple sources. - Implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration and deployment of AI/ML models. - Ensure data availability, scalability, reliability, and performance across environments. - Collaborate with ML engineers, IT, and actuarial teams for deploying and monitoring AI models. - Implement API-based integrations and automation solutions to enhance data operations. - Drive adherence to data governance and security best practices. Required Skills & Experience: - Strong experience in cloud platforms, preferably Azure, AWS, or GCP. - Proficiency in data pipeline design (ETL/ELT), APIs, and integration frameworks. - Hands-on experience with data engineering tools like Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, or equivalent. - Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes). - Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates). - Understanding of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI. - Familiarity with AI/ML model deployment pipelines. - Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills for effective interaction with cross-functional teams. It is preferred to have exposure to actuarial, financial services, or insurance data environments.
