Principal Cloud Support Engineer - OCI Multicloud Support

As a Principal Cloud Support Engineer, you will serve as the technical liaison for customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to address issues related to the installation, maintenance, and utilization of Oracle products. You are expected to possess a comprehensive understanding of all Oracle products within your expertise, with a deep knowledge of multiple products and platforms. Your role will require extensive experience across various platforms, allowing you to independently investigate and devise solutions to customer concerns. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or equivalent practical experience. - Over 8 years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure or cloud-related domains. - Proficiency in Cloud Networking and a thorough understanding of cloud computing. - Practical experience with public-cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI. - Previous involvement in a technical support capacity or a demonstrated ability to swiftly troubleshoot technical issues to identify the root cause and restore services. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. - Effective communication abilities with individuals at both technical and non-technical levels. - Capability to collaborate with a global, remote workforce. A self-motivated professional capable of working in a high-pressure production environment without compromising service quality. - Emphasis on customer service and satisfaction. - Obligation to work on-site 5 days per week and participate in weekend rotations. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with Oracle Database and Exadata.
